Detailed Presentation - in French
mediaCORE is an innovative media asset management for the efficient, cross-departmental and central management of images, videos and audio files. mediaCORE supports users in everything from uploading to archiving and exporting media items. As a fully browser-based, modularly designed solution, mediaCORE allows for an easy integration into existing IT infrastructures, while interfacing with current report systems. The software is fully compliant with data security as well. For example, case-dependent compliance with deletion periods, encryption and granular access rights are integrated by default. mediaCORE offers an efficient and easy workflow, including direct publishing of media and case data for manhunt forms, as well as intelligent search and investigation options. Since 2005, mediaCORE has been in use by various police corps, public authorities and companies. Examples include the Police Corps of the City of Zurich, Police Corps of the Canton of Basel, Police Corps of the Canton of Aargau, Police Corps of the Canton of Zurich, the Building Department of the City of Zurich and Civil Construction Archive of the City of Zurich.
The mediaTUBE media platform allows for a centrally-controlled workflow for multimedia data. Typical input-output processes such as media transcoding and conversions are automatically displayed. Data is stored together with its metadata in a secure archive and is easily accessible. mediaTUBE has been helpful to clients such as the Police Corps of the City of Zurich, which implemented mediaTUBE in 2011.
