Preparation of an LDAP based ISP Mail system with the following qualities:
- Fully redundant interpretation of all servers and services
- Modular construction (one service per server)
- Scalability of all services
- The hardware is based on advantageous, universally employable standard units
- The system is completely based on Open Source (Linux)
- The entire system is based on a Multiple-Master LDAP directory
These are the services implemented:
- Name servers (DNS)
- Incoming and outgoing mail (SMTP)
- Delivery of Mail (POP & IMAP)
- Webserver (for mail configuration through User & Help-Desk)
- Multiple master LDAP directory
- System supervision (Monitoring)
- On-line statistics (number of accounts, average access time etc.)
- Secured access for system management (SSH)
