The European Police Congress is an international congress for decision makers from police forces and security authorities and industries. Its intention is to strengthen the dialogue between the authorities and enable the participants to establish new contacts to colleagues from all over the world.
Together with our Partners Fujitsu and Microsoft we present our digital evidence platform «Smartpolice» in a in a high-performance environment. Smartpolice supports the central collection, management and processing of digital evidence such as images and videos. The management of digital evidence is thus simplified - and therefore offers a considerable reduction in workload for future police work.
Please visit us at the bcc Berlin Congress Center, Floor B, Booth 7b (Microsoft Germany). Experience how our digital evidence management solution «Smartpolice» can support your investigation and improve collaboration within your police authority and the public prosecutor’s office.

Smartpolice has been running in the PCC since October 2020. Individual police forces run as tenants with a configuration tailored to their needs on a single platform. The data between the individual Police Authority remains completely separate. The connection to the PCC is standardised. The PCC also offers the possibility of setting up platforms across multiple Police Authorities; e.g. for the field of crime «Graffiti Switzerland».

The Fujitsu Forum Munich 2019 will take place on 6 and 7 November 2019 in Munich. We will be exploring how a people-first («human-centric») approach to the latest digital technologies is helping to build trust in new business models and ultimately helping to improve lives.
At the Public Sector booth, we present to the police our complete solution for digital evidence, Smartpolice. We show how intelligent, user-centric workflows offer additional possibilities for search, investigation and documentation.
In addition, Smartpolice can integrate digital evidence from the video-based «Fujitsu Citywide Surveillance» solution into existing police workflows. Smartpolice can also be used to play usable video material in the courtroom. The documentation of court hearings itself runs via the «Fujitsu ARCONTE» video recording system. Here again, integration enables cost savings and simplification of processes.

Smartpolice was successfully used at the Streetparade 2019.
Thanks to the mobile Smartpolice App and the «Major Event» module, victims, perpetrators and even stolen goods were quickly documented photographically in crimes such as drug trafficking, personal injury and snatch theft.
The structured delivery of all photos taken during the event helped with several arrests.
The sorting and presentation of the connections between digital evidence facilitates the post-processing of the 2019 Street Parade.

I made the the right decision!
After two months at futureLAB I got more than expected. I have been very well supported with onboarding and have encountered a good mix of «fun & work».
After spending many years at a large company, I decided to start over within a SMB. Since I obtained some information from a former employee and current employees in advance, I had a certain idea what to expect. Yet I was very pleasantly surprised. What impresses me in particular are the team spirit, the dedication and the sense of duty from each colleague to create a high-quality product.
All pull on the same string. Efficient structures and processes are available, only as much as necessary and limited to the essentials. Due to the pleasant and open working atmosphere in the team, I felt very comfortable from the beginning. In the coffee breaks and the two-week «flaBÉROs» I was able to participate in lively discussions on various topics. An open and result-oriented team culture is promoted through holistic and critical thinking. For the first time, the results of my work as a software developer are visible. I am responsible for the entire process from requirement to delivery and post-processing, including customer interaction.
All colleagues are committed to continuous product improvement to meet the needs of our customers and the market. This allows us to fulfill our mission «for a secure future». Even if I'm not directly involved in the market development, I see where the journey is going.

futureLAB has set new standards with Smartpolice in terms of simplicity, user-friendliness and suitability for use in the police market.
A recent quotation from a Zurich Police officer bears witness to this: «We are thrilled with Smartpolice and the integrated mobile app, it is a masterpiece and we look forward with eager anticipation to new functions! It is hard to imagine how we once worked with foto and video material.»
